About ASHI®
The American Society of Home Inspectors® (ASHI®), founded
in 1976, is North America's oldest and most respected professional society of
home inspectors. ASHI's goals have always been to build customer awareness of
the importance of a quality home inspection and enhance the professionalism of
home inspectors.
ASHI offers the new and existing home inspectors
education and resources at a national and local level through the 80 plus ASHI
chapters.
ASHI provides you a voice at the national level. ASHI was a primary source for
introduction of HR 4776 "Consumer Protection Home Inspection Counseling Act".
At the state level, the majority of regulated states use the ASHI® Standards of Practice as the basis of
the state home inspection standards.
ASHI annually holds
InspectionWorld®, the largest annual professional gathering for Home
Inspectors. The InspectionWorld® speakers present information to
better enable you to know and understand the issues and challenges facing you.
And they deliver the real-world case studies and presentations that will inform,
assist and help you to better succeed
